Mystery Bay Area buyers scoop up Lake Tahoe's most expensive home sale
A $62 million lakefront estate in Incline Village is the most expensive house ever sold in Lake Tahoe.
A lakefront estate built by casino mogul Steve Wynn sold last week for $62 million. The sale sets a new record for Lake Tahoe: It’s the most money ever paid for a house on the lake, according to listing agent Christine Perry of Christie’s International Real Estate.
The gated home, known as Old Forge, was listed last year for $76 million by Michael and Nora Lacey. Nora Lacey is the founder and president of biotech company Cell Marque. The Laceys purchased the estate for $31 million in 2017 and invested $5 million into the property, the Wall Street Journal reported.
Perry did not reveal the identity of the buyers, but she told the Wall Street Journal they are from the Bay Area. A limited liability company in Delaware was set up to shield the identity of the buyers in the transaction, property records filed with the........
