The Peet’s Coffee location at 2139 C Polk St. in San Francisco is among a wave of store closures expected at the end of January 2026. 

A Peet’s Coffee outpost in San Francisco’s Polk Gulch neighborhood is expected to permanently close amid a wave of upcoming closures for the Berkeley-born coffee chain.

Stephanie O’Brien, a spokesperson for Peet’s, confirmed to SFGATE that the cafe located at 2139 C Polk St., in addition to more locations, is expected to close by the end of the month. O’Brien didn’t mention how many stores will........
