Daleyza Fregoso was last seen at around 4 a.m. May 24, police say. 

Los Angeles police are searching for a 5-year-old girl and her father after the girl’s mother was found dead inside their West Adams home Monday.

Officers responded to a welfare check on the 2600 block of South Alsace Avenue at 12:39 p.m. Monday and discovered an adult woman deceased inside the residence, according to an LAPD news release. The woman’s identity and manner of death have not been publicly released.

Investigators identified the victim’s husband, Ruben Fregoso, 40, as a person of interest in her death. Fregoso had made statements indicating he intended to........
