Bay Area rock music fans mourned for weeks when longtime KSAN-FM morning show “Lamont and Tonelli” on 107.7 the Bone came to an end in November amid yet another round of layoffs at Cumulus.

Around seven and a half weeks later, Lamont Hollywood is finally back on the air — but without longtime co-host Paul Tonelli. And according to Hollywood’s postings on Facebook, it’s not for lack of effort to get Tonelli back.

Hollywood returned to the airwaves on Monday for the newly rebranded show centered around him called “The Lamont Show.” He is joined by two other longtime members of the 6-10 a.m. weekday morning show: Chasta Michaelis, who is also the station’s program director, and Danny........
