We need to count our blessings
Most of us don’t realize how blessed we are.
There are those at the top of the pecking order who have everything – money, control, status, things – way more than they need. They do not have to worry but are rarely satisfied. We always want more than we have and when we can afford more we still want more.
My heart breaks for those who are impoverished and homeless, who don’t have shelter, clothes or food and need our help. Don’t know why or what happened in their lives to cause them to be totally dependent on others for mere survival. We must not judge but remember, “There but for the Grace of God…” and help as much as we can.
Then there is the rest of us. We don’t think the life we have is that great and complain about just about everything. Gas prices are too high. The cost of food is ridiculous. Christmas will be slim this year. The truck is costing a fortune in repairs but sure can’t afford to replace it. Boss says........
