On Saturday, Nov. 2, I was in Chatham, at the Sons of Kent Brewery, to introduce my new book Boards & Bricks, which is a history of Chatham structures, particularly those in the core area.

So many buildings having been lost, I thought it prudent to do a record, complete with photos and explain their legacy.

I am hoping that this book, 100 from now, will be a valued research tool.

The book was printed by Instant Print & Promo and hardcover bound by Wallaceburg Book Binding.

Most of the run is sold out. There are some books left to sell.

While I was greeting customers, a wonderful gentleman came in and gave me a special gift. I am very much regretting the fact that I did not write his name down........
