It's September and the United Way of Sarnia-Lambton campaign kickoff is just weeks away.

It’s September and the United Way of Sarnia-Lambton campaign kickoff is just weeks away.

Fundraising already has started with the mailing 2,300 letters, largely to people who donated in past years, and the annual Sarnia Sting Black and White game last week.

This year’s Sarnia Sting Black and White game raised more than $4,700 and raffle tickets are still being sold. The first prize is a Weber Tailgating BBQ, the second prize is an autographed Sarnia Sting Jersey, and the third place draw is an autographed Sarnia Sting Stick, both generously donated by the Sting. Raffle tickets can be purchased at the next two preseason games, or by visiting the United Way website.
