Leave it to Trump to get Adam Schiff back in the headlines
Aside from lying about his golf game, Rep. Adam Schiff seems to be former President Donald Trump’s favorite hobby.
Trump was speaking at yet another of his goofball “rallies” in, of all noncompetitive locales, Coachella — where he got his jollies knocking soon-to-be Sen. Schiff.
For all the hoopla about former Los Angeles Dodger and deadbeat dad Steve Garvey being a plausible Senate candidate — he isn’t and never was because he’s utterly in over his head — Schiff hasn’t had to lift a finger with his current 24-point lead in the latest USC-Dornsife poll.

Schiff now mostly seems to occupy his time helping other Democratic Senate candidates like the very endangered Sen. Jon Tester of Montana (he’s seriously behind) and Sen. Sherrod Brown of Ohio (he’s tied, or up, depending upon which poll you read).
Why does Trump even bother with Schiff, anyway? One could also wonder why he bothers telling people that pets are on the menu in Springfield, Ohio, or that he thinks Vice President Kamala Harris is “mentally disabled,” or even “the R-word” — Google it, as I had to.
He bothers with the California Democrat because Schiff is smart, right, going to win going away and had made his own hobby of deconstructing Trump’s treasonous actions during his service on the Jan. 6 House committee.
