Nvidia more than doubled revenue to $96 billion and expects 70% growth ahead

The chipmaker posted $96.2 billion in revenue for the quarter ended July 26, and guided for $108 billion in the current period

Nvidia $NVDA reported second-quarter revenue of $96.2 billion on Wednesday, more than doubling from a year earlier as demand for its AI chips continued to accelerate.

The company's data center division, which houses its AI accelerator business, generated $89 billion in revenue for the quarter ended July 26, up 117% from the same period a year ago and 18% from the prior quarter, the company said. Analyst expectations for data center revenue stood at $85.8 billion, according to Bloomberg.
