Divorces and breakups are tough not only for the two people involved but also for their friends and families. Suddenly, you’re feeling stuck in the middle of a collapsing relationship—of your parents, children, siblings, or best friend—over which you have no control. But it is not just them you are concerned about; it is also the “others”—your brother-in-law or son-in-law, or your friend’s partner—with whom you also have a relationship.
