Is Microconnecting the Next Big Dating Trend?
A "nanoship" may sound like a very, very small ship. But, rather, it describes a new dating phenomenon. A nanoship is sort of like a situationship, but smaller. Much smaller.
Officially, according to Tinder's Year in Swipe 2024 report, a nanoship involves a microconnection—having some kind of quick, small connection moment with someone without any accompanying expectations or longer-term commitments. It could be simply a momentary and fleeting connection or could lead to something deeper and longer-lasting. The point is you just don't know at the moment it occurs.
