How shocking, when he chooses a budget that favours damage to nature as opposed to helping the intellectuals and the natural life, which are prominent in our province: its natural riches, our forests, our beaches, our oceans, our tourism organizations.

It is most disappointing that all those gifts of nature are ignored, and so are our writers, artists, musicians, and athletes who have again proven so amazing, dedicated and talented heroes at the recent Olympics could feel insulted for not being recognized after their recent exploits in Milano.

I want to think it is not too late for Nova Scotia to recognize all those gentle, artistic intellectuals and their efforts that made us proud to be Canadians.
