It is stupefying that transit buses continue to assemble on both sides of Grafton Street in Charlottetown and that no one responsible for public safety can see this is an accident waiting to happen.

There was a proposal in January 2025 to align the bus stops on the south side, or Confederation Centre side, of the block. This may have been a no-go because it would have removed an entire block of parking spaces. Because many transit riders access the shops at Confederation Court Mall, while others wait in the warmth of complex during winter months, positioning a transit........
