One year, we took his old British Daimler car and stayed at the Train Station Inn in Tatamagouche. We climbed up a little ladder and sat in the upper windows of our caboose. It was lovely and we had a little walk along the old railway bed behind the inn.

Another time, we stayed in a little cabin at the Salmon River Country Inn & The Mermaid Eatery in the Head of Jeddore. My husband likes to eat at German restaurants because he loved the food when he was stationed in Germany. This one did cut the mustard (and sauerkraut) for........
