ANNE M. CROSSMAN: Reviewing the election results
Now that things have calmed down a bit in the election department, it is time to have a look at what it may mean for the next few months.
The old/new prime minister – he was for a short time and now is again, but who knows for how long – Mark Carney has his work cut out for him. It’s a good thing he is a spry 60 – the pace he has set for himself is certainly more than many people could manage. I got tired just watching him practically sprint down Sparks Street in Ottawa after his first press conference. I’m too old fashioned to call it a “media availability.”
