Market Hall Performing Arts Centre is thrilled to announce its Volunteer of the Year, Cheryl Ross.

If you have been to an event at Market Hall, located at 140 Charlotte St., you may have encountered Ross. She is described by staff as “a constant, welcoming presence at Market Hall, always stepping up whenever we need a hand. Her dedication, energy, and passion for the arts shine through in everything she does, and we are incredibly grateful for her time and support.”

Market Hall is thankful for its entire volunteer team. Volunteers are essential — from greeting patrons in the lobby, taking tickets at the door, or helping behind the scenes — and make every event possible. In return, volunteers enjoy live performances free of charge, and get a behind-the-scenes look at how a heritage performing arts centre........
