“Come with your family or friends to browse the beautiful pottery creations, all one-of-a-kind originals made by local potters,” says Anne Normand, sale chair. “There will be serving pieces such as teapots, plates, platters, large bowls and charcuterie trays, functional pieces such as oil and soap bottles, espresso cups, tumblers and butter dishes, decor items such as vases, gnomes and tiny sculpted animals, garden items such as plant pots, small ornaments and fairy houses, jewelry items such as earrings and mugs galore!”
She says that pottery made by a local potter would be an excellent present for upcoming spring and summer events such as birthdays, weddings, graduations, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day or teacher gift.
The sale features 18 potters including some new potters, who have created their pieces either on the wheel or by using handbuilding techniques.
