The ladies auxiliary from Norwood’s Legion Branch 300 hosted a special Father’s Day Breakfast. Around 120 hungry guests came to enjoy a hearty breakfast of breakfast staples. Entry in a Father’s Day draw was included with admission and resulted in one lucky gentleman winning a $100 gift certificate for use at J.J. Stewart Motors. Winner Carl Lisson came with his family, including his son and grandson, who is apparently named after his grandfather, appropriately going by the moniker Carl Jr.

The ladies auxiliary express their thanks to all the people that came out to their Father’s Day breakfast on Sunday. They extend a special thank you to all of their volunteers, congratulating them on doing “an awesome job.” Thanks are also sent to Phil Horrigan from Sysco for all his help — “without him the day would not have gone nearly as smoothly as it did.” Thanks also need to go to the generous folks in town that made donations in both money and supplies for the breakfast.
