Tickets are now available for Peterborough Humane Society’s PHS 50/50 Lottery and if you purchase your tickets before Oct. 10 you will be entered into a draw for the $750 early bird prize to be drawn Oct. 10.

“We’re so excited to launch this next PHS 50/50 Lottery,” said Shawn Morey, CEO of the Peterborough Humane Society. “Our community has supported us so generously in the past, and we can’t wait to see the excitement build again, all while making a real difference for animals in need.”

In addition to the 50/50 lottery, there is also a Marlin Travel & Transat Ruffle with a prize of a $5,000 travel voucher. Winners for both the 50/50 lottery and the Ruffle will be drawn Thursday, Oct. 31.

“We launched it this past Friday and the jackpot is already at $8,160, meaning the winner will take home at least $4,080,” said Si Grobler, Manager Donor Experience and Communications, PHS, in an email Oct. 1.
