This summer, Oilersnation will recap the top five Edmonton Oilers goals, the top five fights, and the top five overall moments from the up-and-down 2025-26 season. 

It was a season to forget for the Edmonton Oilers, because after back-to-back Stanley Cup Finals, the Oilers crashed out in the first round. They didn’t have a tough start like the two prior seasons, but the Oilers were never able to find their footing.

Shortly before the 2005-06 Oilers turned their boat around ahead of the trade deadline, they hosted the Ottawa Senators on Jan. 14, 2006.
