Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service was called to a blaze at the derelict former Van-Dal shoe factory in Dibden Road, Norwich, at around 5.39pm on Monday.

At its height there were 17 fire crews at the scene tackling the flames with the fire service remaining at the site until 2.30pm on Tuesday.

George White Junior School, which is located on nearby Silver Road, was forced to remain closed on Tuesday because of the fire.
