Ben Poole, 25, had been on a night out in Norwich celebrating a colleague’s birthday when he allegedly touched the trio inappropriately.

Giving evidence during his trial at Ipswich Crown Court, Poole, who was a serving officer at the time of the allegations, said that joining the police had been his dream job since he was a teenager.

He said that after leaving university he had worked as a postman in Ipswich before getting a job as a prison officer and then joining Norfolk Constabulary.
