The Lord Chamberlain’s Men certainly achieved that feat with aplomb as they delighted two 900-strong sold out audiences on lovely summer evenings with fabulous performances of Twelfth Night at the city’s 2025 Shakespeare Festival.

TLCM are celebrating their 21st anniversary and are a modern-day incarnation of the Bard’s own travelling troupe of players.

The hilariously farcical and romantic comedy was performed as it would have been four centuries ago with an all-male cast.........
