10-26. Potters Resorts at Hopton near Great Yarmouth will be rolling out the famous blue carpet as it once again hosts the World Indoor Bowls Championship.
16-18 and 22-25. Sewell Barn Theatre in Norwich stages Shakespeare's timeless story of corruption and power, Richard III.
21-25. Stephen Daldry's multi award winning National Theatre production of JB Priestly's classic thriller An Inspector Calls returns to Norwich Theatre Royal.
28-February 1. Norfolk and Norwich Operatic Society begins its centenary year by staging golden age musical Singin' in the Rain at Norwich Theatre Royal.
28-February 1. Laura Horton's acclaimed Alan Partridge inspired play Lynn Faces, which debuted in Edinburgh in the summer comes to Norwich Theatre Stage Two. Nearing 40, painfully shy and trying to make sense of a painful break-up, Leah forms a punk bank inspired by Alan Partridge's long-suffering PA Lynn Benfield. As they take to the stage for their first gig with no musical ability, Leah is forced to face the reality of a life that looks nothing like she thought it would.
4-8. Giovanna Fletcher stars in the stage adaptation of Paula Hawkins' gripping thriller The Girl on the Train at Norwich Theatre Royal.
6-8 West Norfolk Gilbert and Sullivan Society present The Mikado at King's Lynn Guildhall.
10-15. Strictly Come Dancing's Karen Clifton stars as the fierce yet fabulous Velma von Tussle in the Broadway and West End smash hit Hairspray at Norwich Theatre Royal. Join big hearted Tracy Turnblad and her new friends: the spirited Seaweed and his sister Little Inez, heartthrob Link Larkin and the resolute Motormouth Maybelle as they strive to change the world.
14-22. King's Lynn Mart brings all the fun of the fair to the town. The origins of fair, which operates under a Royal Charter, date back more than 800 years. It begins with a grand civic opening where the Mart and its showmen are blessed.
13. The East Anglian Book Awards winners are announced at the National Centre for Writing, Dragon Hall, Norwich.
15. Norwich Philharmonic tackles one of the most radical works of the early 20th century - Stravinsky’s Rite of Spring - at Norfolk Events Centre. They are joining forces with local youth dance company Workshop Studios, who will provide their own special interpretation of the landmark ballet, performing in the round in front of the orchestra. Ballet music will also form the first half of the concert, including the suite from Tchaikovsky’s romantic Swan Lake.
15-22. Wildlife expert, presenter and author Steve Backshall MBE, and ballerina and former principal of the Royal Ballet, Dame Darcey Bussell, are set to take to the stage at Norwich Science Festival. Steve Backshall will open the festival with two appearances - one talking about his awe-inspiring encounters with whales and then in conversation with Norwich Science Festival patron, Professor Ben Garrod. Dame Darcey will close the event with a glittering evening of conversation and dance with Dr Peter Lovatt, known affectionately as Dr Dance, at Norwich Theatre Royal.

The Broadway and West End sensation, Kinky Boots The Musical, struts back to Norwich Theatre Royal in a brand-new production starring Strictly Come Dancing’s Johannes Radebe and rising star Dan Partridge. After inheriting his family’s failing shoe factory and with a relationship on the rocks, life is proving to be very challenging for Charlie Price. That is until he meets Lola, a drag queen whose sparkle and unsteady heels might just hold the answer to saving the struggling business.
9. Strictly star Chris McCausland brings his latest stand-up show, Yonks!, to Norwich Theatre Royal.
22. After the sell-out success of Norwich Philharmonic Society's first-ever children’s concerts last season, they return to the King’s Centre in Norwich to coincide with the Norfolk County Music Festival, which celebrates its centenary in 2025. The fun-filled programme includes Gaspard’s Foxtrot, Jonathan Dove’s setting of the children’s book by Zeb Soanes, narrated by the author and with live illustration by James Mayhew.
