Edith Seaman, who is now one of the oldest women in Norfolk, marked the occasion at Sydney House Care Home in Stalham.

Mrs Seaman had ambitious plans for her birthday and had joked she hoped to ride on the back of a motorcycle, inspired by her grandson, who is a keen biker.

Nathan Murphy, who works at the care home, said: “Edith is always happy and always smiling.

“She can be quite reserved.
