Michael De'Ath says he was slapped with the penalty when he stopped for seconds in Delft Way on February 11 because his car broke down. 

He claims his vehicle "started juddering" and a yellow warning light flashed up on the dashboard, on his way to McDonald's in the same road, forcing him to stop. 

It has led to a furious row between the driver and officials at Norwich Airport – who stand by their fine despite Mr De'Ath refusing to pay the parking ticket.  

Mr De'Ath, from Gorleston, is one of hundreds of drivers who have been fined after Vehicle Control Services Ltd, a private company, enforced the charge on behalf of........
