Cafe owner receives unexpected visit from historian

Oliver Stevens, who opened OP’s Coffee in Bank Plain in honour of his granddad, Peter Reginald Stevens, had a historian unexpectedly stop by at his shop last week.

The customer believes Mr Stevens' grandfather, who served in the Norfolk Regiment, might have been part of the 2nd Battalion, which was reformed and sent to India in June 1942, where they fought against the Japanese.
