Amanda Macintosh, who "loves" having long hair, has been left devastated after she got a "horror story" haircut from the Crop Shop in the city on April 25.

Ms Macintosh "rarely" goes to the hairdressers and said the last time she had her hair cut was a year ago at the same place based in Castle Meadow.

But this time she claims the hairstylist ignored her request for a trim and she instead got the shock of her life when she saw a "massive pile of hair on the floor".
