Medical fraternity in Kerala demand stringent laws against unscientific homebirths
Thiruvananthapuram: Various organizations of medical practitioners of Kerala has expressed strong concerns and objections over instances of childbirth taking place at home in the state and has called for strong legislation to be enacted against such criminal practices. The KGMOA (Kerala Government Medical Officers Association) has urged the state government to come up with strong legislations to curb such practices.
