New Delhi: Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap has found himself at the centre of a raging controversy after his remarks about Brahmins triggered severe backlash from right-wing organisations and community leaders.

Tensions flared further when Pt. Suresh Mishra, who serves as the National President of the Sarva Brahmin Mahasabha and Chief Patron of the Chanakya Sena, announced a cash reward of Rs 1 lakh for anyone who “blackens” the filmmaker’s face.
