New Delhi: Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have officially closed the chapter on their marriage. After months of legal proceedings, the couple’s divorce was finalised on February 21. With that, JLo has also legally removed “Affleck” from her name, signalling a definitive end to their two-year union.

According to AP, a Los Angeles Superior Court judge approved the divorce settlement on January 6, with the terms taking effect after California’s mandatory six-month waiting period. Unlike many high-profile splits, Lopez and Affleck settled through mediation in September, avoiding a messy courtroom battle.
