New Delhi: Kangana Ranaut’s much-awaited biopic Emergency is finally set to hit theatres on January 17. Directed by the actress herself, the film delves into the controversial period of Emergency imposed by former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.

However, the film will face tough competition at the box office clashing with Azaad, a period drama starring Ajay Devgn, his nephew Aaman Devgn, and Raveena Tandon’s daughter Rasha Thadani.
