Talking About The Future Of EVs In India With The President and Chairman of Elecrama 2025

The electric vehicle market is ever-growing in India. The percentage of electric vehicles have been increasing every year and one of the biggest challenges for the Indian market has been the charging infrastructure. One other challenge is stiff competition from the Chinese market.

We got to talk with Vikram Gandotra, President (Elect) and Chairman, ELECRAMA 2025, one of the largest electrical shows in the country, bringing in the latest and greatest in technology and giving brands to showcase what is in store for the future. The event was held at India Expo Centre in Noida and people from throughout the country reached at the event. We talked about electric vehicles, the impact on the electrical grid, the adoption of renewable energy and make in India initiatives.

We asked the President and Chairman of Elecrama 2025 what he believes are the changes coming to the EV space in the Indian market. We are still at very initial stages of EV adoption and the upcoming 5 to 10 years are going to be vital for the development of EVs and creating a space for them to become mainstream in the market.
