New Delhi: The families of missing couple Raja Raghuvanshi and Sonam Raghuvanshi have demanded a CBI probe after Raja’s body was recovered. No traces of his wife have been found so far. The newly married couple from Madhya Pradesh had visited Meghalaya for their honeymoon before going missing on May 23.

Raja and Sonam tied the knot on May 11 in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. They reached Mawlakhiat village on May 22. The couple had started their journey on May 20. On May 23, they checked out of a homestay in Nongriat, Meghalaya, and headed toward Mawlakhiat without a guide.

A tourist guide claimed that the couple were seen accompanied by three unidentified men, on the day they went missing.

Speaking to PTI, Albert Pde, a guide at Mawlakhiat, said he had seen the couple accompanied by three male tourists as they were climbing over 3,000 steps from Nongriat to Mawlakhiat around 10 am on May 23. The guide recognised the........
