Lucknow: A man has been arrested for allegedly killing his wife and four daughters in Lucknow. His son, who was also involved in the crime, was arrested last week, the police said on Monday. The man and his son committed the crime on December 31 last year.

Sharing details, the police said that Badruddin and his son Arshad had committed the crime at Sharanjeet Hotel in the city. Arashad was arrested on January 1, and Badruddin was taken into custody on January 27. Badruddin had allegedly tried to consume a poisonous substance at the time of his arrest but the police thwarted the attempt.
