Mumbai: The Maharashtra Government is all set to bring a new law against the ‘Love Jihad’ cases in the state. A seven-member committee has also been formed to assess the legislation under the Director General of Police (DGP)

The committee will probe the various instances of cases related to Love Jehad and prepare a report, which will be submitted to the state government after it is completed. After getting the report the state government will take further action as per the need.
