‘What India Thinks Today’ Global Summit: Comedy must not hurt anybody, says Bhagwant Mann on Kunal Kamra controversy

New Delhi: Punjab Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Bhagwant Mann on Saturday poke on the ongoing Kunal Kamra controversy and said that comedy must be made in a way that every enjoys and not felt hurt. He added that people these days have no patience and get hurt on anything.

Speaking at the TV9 Network’s ‘What India Thinks Today’ Global Summit, the chief minister noted that satire is something in which people can comment on big issues going on in the country, with just a few words.

“Comedy should be made in such away that everyone enjoys and no one feels hurt. These days there is a lack of patience among people in the country. Emotions are getting hurt on small issues these days. There are clashes on small things. Comedy should be taken as comedy itself and not hurt anybody,” he said.

The CM added, “Narendra Modi is the Prime Minister of this country. He is not the country. Making comedy on PM Modi iss not the comedy on country. There can be comedy on anything,........
