New Delhi: Gujarat Titans were on top of their game with both bat and ball as they defeated Royal Challengers Bengaluru by eight wickets in an IPL 2025 match Bengaluru on Wednesday.

GT won the toss and restricted home team RCB to 169/8 and then chased down the total in 17.5 overs to complete their second successive win. It was RCB’s first defeat in IPL 2025 after two consecutive wins.

For GT, Jos Buttler remained unbeaten on 73 off 39 balls, hitting five boundaries and six sixes while opener Sai Sudharsan scored 49 off 36 balls (7×4, 1×6).

This is GT’s second biggest win by wickets while chasing, after their 9-wicket win with 37 balls to spare against Rajasthan Royals in Jaipur in 2023.
