New Delhi: Mohun Bagan defender Subhasish Bose and East Bengal midfielder Soumya Guguloth were adjudged Indian football’s men and women players of the year for 2024.

They were chosen as the best performers for the 2024-25 season at the All India Football Federation’s annual award ceremony in Bhubaneswar on Friday.

Left-back Bose led Bagan to an Indian Super League Shield and Cup double in a record-breaking season, scoring an all-time high of six goals by a defender, while Guguloth was the third highest scorer with nine goals in EB’s maiden Indian Women’s League-winning campaign.
