Bengaluru: A bizarre theft case in Bengaluru is making headlines for its unusual twist — the thief donated a portion of the stolen money to a temple, and now, it can’t be taken back.
According to a report by Deccan Herald, the incident occurred on May 5, when a 46-year-old chartered accountant from Kodandaramapura handed over a bag containing Rs 1.51 crore to his driver, Rajesh BN, and asked him to keep it in the car. The money was meant to be deposited in a bank.
