New Delhi: Mahindra and Mahindra (M&M) have revealed their plans to bring a new vehicle platform on the coming August 15th to make their SUV portfolio more strong. According to Rajesh Jejurikar, ED and CEO- Auto and Farm Sectors, M&M said that the company will be introducing a new series of products that will come and is more platform vision and not a product launch.

Mahindra have been aiming to ramp up their production by at least 3,000 units for both XUV3XO and Thar Roxx in the ongoing fiscal year. Further, it also intends to build a 1.2 lakh unit yearly capacity at its Chakan facility. Aside from this, Mahindra has plans to open a new plant, though the location is undecided so far, with the decision depending on subsidies and incentives offered by different state governments.

Jejuriker has said that they will be working on an absolutely new “greenfield project”........
