New Delhi: Maruti Suzuki India’s MD and CEO, Hisashi Takeuchi, has said that India’s time to shine at a global platform has arrived. Addressing the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association (ACMA), Takeuchi felt that the upcoming decades would be India’s to take, although it needs policy stability and resilience to stay as the main character in it growth story.

Takeuchi noted that throughout the last century, there was a constant shift in powers and that it was now India’s turn. At its disposal, the country has the largest working-age population, growing government support and a four-trillion-dollar economy, and hence the country has everything that is required to come as a trusted global workshop.
