New Delhi: Bentley Motors has introduced a second plug-in hybrid V8 option for its Continental GT, GTC, and Flying Spur. It has been named a High Performance Hybrid, and the powertrain is slightly less powerful than the existing 782 bhp, 1,000Nm Ultra Performance. The new PHEVs feature the familiar 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 and a gearbox-mounted electric motor pair like the Ultra Performance variant.

However, the combination produces less power at 680 bhp and 930 Nm. The Continental GT will take 3.7 seconds to accelerate from 0-100kph, while the GTC and the Flying Spur will both take 3.9 seconds to do........
