'Rise above politics', Dharmendra Pradhan to MK Stalin over NEP row
New Delhi: Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has written to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin, urging the state government to reconsider its opposition to the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the three-language policy. In his letter, Pradhan emphasized that education should not be politicized and called for decisions to be made in the interest of students, transcending political differences. The communication comes amid ongoing debates in Tamil Nadu over the three-language policy and the state’s reluctance to adopt the NEP.
Pradhan’s letter was in response to Chief Minister Stalin’s earlier communication to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on February 20, 2025, regarding education funding.........
