BCCI issues new diktat ahead of IPL 2025, makes big changes to practice rules
New Delhi: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) issued new guidelines to all ten franchises ahead of the IPL 2025. The new season will start with defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders taking on Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the Eden Gardens on March 22.
According to the Cricbuzz report, the BCCI sent a note to all the franchises and issued direct guidelines that teams cannot hold more than seven sessions in the stadium for the upcoming season and also said that there can only be two warm-up matches or centre wicket practice sessions.
