Google is now testing a major update to the Gemini overlay on Android that will allow users to easily work with PDFs with the help of AI. The new “Ask about this PDF’’ feature is now a part of Files by Google, providing a better solution to assess and explain documents within the application. This functionality is an improvement on the previous “Ask about this screen” feature but provides a dedicated focus on PDFs for improved efficiency for those using highly detailed documents.
