New Delhi: At least six people died and several others were injured after falling off a fast local train heading towards CSMT (Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus) near Mumbra railway station in Thane on Monday.

Passengers travelling on the local train towards Mumbai were hanging onto the doors. These passengers clinging to the doors were grazed by a passing express train, causing them to fall down, leading to the death of eight passengers. Among the deceased is GRP officer Vicky Balasaheb Mukhade.

Railway officials and police rushed to the scene, and the injured were immediately taken to nearby hospitals. An investigation into the cause of the........
