New Delhi: Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav on Sunday announced the suspension of his elder son and former Bihar minister Tej Pratap Yadav from the party for six years. In a rare and stern move, Lalu also declared that Tej Pratap has been removed from the Yadav family.

In a post on social media platform X, the RJD supremo cited “irresponsible behaviour” and conduct that goes against the values of the party and family as reasons for the expulsion.
