New Delhi: A 48-year-old sanitation worker from Delhi has been arrested for the murder of his wife in Prayagraj. The accused has been identified as Ashok Kumar and the victim as Meenakshi, both residents of east Delhi’s Trilokpuri area. He allegedly took his wife to the Maha Kumbh on the pretext of a holy dip, killed her at a lodge, and later claimed she had gone missing.

Ashok was reportedly involved in an extramarital affair and had been planning to kill his wife for three months, who was opposed to his infidelity. According to DCP (City) Abhishek Bharti, the accused meticulously orchestrated the crime to ensure no one suspected........
