New Delhi: A man has been detained for allegedly attacking Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta during a ‘Jan Sunwai’ programme at her official residence in Civil Lines on Wednesday morning. A senior police officer stated that the man has been arrested and further enquiry is underway in the presence of North Delhi DCP and other senior police officers.

At around 8 am, a man reached the Chief Minister and handed over some papers before allegedly assaulting her. Soon after the incident, the Civil Lines police apprehended the accused, and the Chief Minister was taken for a medical check-up. As per the........
